Reliability (RAM) Evaluations

Reliability - Availability – Maintainability (RAM) predictive modeling is a critical asset management technology for assessing future system performance and life-cycle costing. The main objective of RAM analyses is to provide a quantitative approach to optimizing process systems and component performance. Our proprietary software tools are available for performing RAM analyses using either Monte Carlo simulation or analytical methods.

Simulation modeling provides a quantitative approach to help understand complex processing inter-dependent systems, including:

  • Projected failure rates
  • Design redundancy issues
  • Intermediate product tankage sizing
  • Preventive maintenance policies
  • Spares inventory optimization
  • Logistical and operating decisions
  • Ageing considerations
