PIPELINE INTEGRITY
Maintaining pipeline integrity is a comprehensive process which constantly
assesses, evaluates, repairs and validates the integrity of pipeline
segments carrying hazardous substances. These pipeline segments could
affect sensitive areas if failure occurred.
RRS combines skills and expertise in numerous areas to assist with pipeline
integrity. RRS can:
- Develop and implement written integrity management programs
- Conduct pipeline risk assessment for providing a basis for making risk
based decisions on maintenance activities (link to description of Transpire
on Software page)
- Determine failure causes, frequency and mode
- Perform assessment and optimization of reliability and availability
- Calculate risk (individual and societal)
- Assess Environmental impact of oil spills
- Calculate thermal radiation
- All models are validated through full scale testing as well as practical
application
